What to do on a Sat public holiday? 9 Aug, our nation's bday, thinking of where to go?
Somewhere we can relax and stay away from the crowd.
Well, well, in the end we went to somewhere near our place. Ah ha, Sentosa!!! So off we go..!
Drove to Beach Station carpark, first stop, went to meet our frens!
More like a date with the animals:
Next, we took the train from Beach Station to Imbiah Station - F.O.C...to our surprise!
Didn't visit any placs of interest, just jalan jalan around that area. Initially wanna try out the skyride, to my disappointment, it was not meant for the preggy women. Oooh...how sad!
No choice then, got to wait till next year lah! :(
We also went to the beach to enjoy the sun, the sand and the sea. However, it started to drizzle shortly after we reached there. Thus, we took the train back to where we came from, Beach Station. Then, we left Sentosa after another round of animals encounters.
All in all, think we spent about 2hrs plus in Sentosa. That's how we celebrated National Day 2008.
Then, we headed back home to watch the NDP and ordered KFC delivery. (",) Happy Birthday Singapore!!!
