Hi all my dearies, yes I have not been updating my blog regularly & diligently...busy, lazy, or simply bo chap...!!! Pardon me yah!

I can skipped any other days blog, but definitely not this one!
Why lei...hahaha...cos it's a special and memorable day. A day worth mentioning, hence, urging me to pen down my appreciations, gratitudes and thanks to Jojo, Nic, Felin, Siang, Adam, HL, Jean, Beng, Dennis, Eddie and my Dar! Not forgetting special casts - Sylvia Tan & Coreen Ang!

The story went like this...abit lengthy, please bear with me!

30Oct'07, Tues - An impromptu shopping therapy session after work with Sylvia & Coreen.
During dinner, Sylvia told us that her company had given her $100 Fish & Co dining voucher (employee's welfare, I thought), she asked us wanna go have dinner together on Fri to utilise the voucher. Wah lau, since it's free, why not? Moi, being the most innocent person in the world took every word of hers seriously.
No suspicious or whatsoever! Everything was confirmed - date, time & venue!

FYI, my bday is round the corner. We have this surprise bday attack thingy initiated by our dear fren, Jo-san! Since Nov, my bday month is approaching, I was on alert liao! I was waiting...waiting...waiting...till Jo-san told me that Nic & herself are gg to Thai this weekend.
I was thinking, since the mastermind is not in Singapore, perhaps the bday attack is next week.

Thus, I let off my guard. Moreover, I will be attending a orientation by my company, so basically my mind was not switched to alert mode...hahahha!!! As the week passed, I attended my Orientation on Thurs. It was a 2D 1N out of office affair. On Fri, I remembered my appt with Sylvia & frens. I smsed Sylvia to confirm on the dinner and things went as planned.

After the orientation, I took a train to Kembangan cos Ken was picking me from there. He said he wanna go for a haircut, so ok lor! It's pretty normal, only that he was able to knock off earlier than usual. After haircut, we proceeded to Suntec where we were suppose to meet Sylvia & Coreen. We were slightly late, no phone calls from them, I expected them to be late as usual.
Ken & I walked to our destination, Fish & Co @ the basement. I was trying to get the waitress's attention, when I wanted to say "Table for 5"....................................................................................
someone(s) sang the Happy Bday song right at my back. I turned around and saw Felin, Jean, Beng, Siang, Adam, Nic and Jo-san was holding a cupcake with a candle.

I was totally caught off guard. I was like: "How come u guys are here? I'm having dinner with my frens (Sylvia & Coreen) lei!" Jo-san replied: We are your frens lor!!!
Hahahah....moi, being the blur queen, still thinking the free voucher thingy is real. The whole $100 dinner voucher thingy was fake. And the scriptwriter of this whole bday attack was none other than my Dar. I could never guessed that my own frens were involved in this "conspiracy"!
I called Sylvia immediately, she was laughing on the other end of the phone.
Way to go man...buddy!

Can you imagine the huge question mark or exclaimation mark on my face when I saw them?
Nevertheless, they succeeded in planning the bday attack for moi, no words can describe it.

Not the end yet, 好戏在后头.
I was asked to unwrapped my bday present. So I obeyed! ^0^
When I unwrapped, a white & blue box was partially revealed. I was telling the rest: "It looked like a Nokia box"! True enough, it was a Nokia Bluetooth set. (I have casually mentioned to Ken before that if they wanna get me a bday gift, I hope for an Ipod Radio Remote). Though it was not what I have requested, I was contended enough as a Bluetooth set was one of the item I wished to own. However, Jo-san began to say funny things...she was telling Adam (who was incharge of buying the gift), wrong liao lah!

I was pretty puzzled, cos the Bluetooth package was already unsealed. I was thinking maybe they used the Nokia box as a recycled box to put my real bday gift in it.
I opened the box, and it was a real Nokia Bluetooth set inside lei...no gimmicks at all.

Jo-san started asking me whether I like the gift, I said of coz! I have wanted to get one earlier.
When I looked at their faces, they were all like trying to hide something. In the end, I realised actually they wanna buy the Ipod Radio Remote for me, but Adam made a mistake n bought a Nokia Bluetooth instead. Seriously, no matter what they buy for me is secondary, it's the thought that counts mah! Felin even baked cupcakes as my bday cake, realli very touched liao!
Jo-san also baked cookies for moi, what else can I asked for!


Saw the 2 lamb lamb cupcakes? And the letter(s) "P" made up of M&M chocolates.

After dinner, we went to the sky garden @ Suntec to have the lovely cupcakes.
We decided to go for a drink at Kallang KFC.
