After the sumptous dinner, how can the nite be completed without a game of mahjong? :)
CNY Day 1
Bringing Jade to "bai nian" for the very first time. Woke up early to prepare her. I was feeling abit unwell that morning, tot the pain in my stomach will go away soon.
Though Jade dun knw how to greet Daddy n Mummy with mandarin oranges yet, we still gave Jade her very first ang baos.
It was not an enjoyable Day 1 for me, when visiting Kenny's relatives in the morning, I became realli unwell due to sudden attack of gastric. It was rather unusual cos I do not have history of gastric pain. In the end, we did not continue visiting his other relatives but went straight to my Granny's place for lunch. However, I was half dead when I reached there, I did not take lunch and rested in the room. The pain didn't subside n a fever came along. I was on off sleeping, n feeling reall bad. Dad gave me some gastric pills to take.
Only felt better in the evening, hardly ate anything. Managed to eat abit of rice during dinner. Was still feeling abit sick when we went home.
CNY Day 2
We visited my sister on Day 2. Nothing much actually. Dinner @ nearby coffee shop with our family & their friends. Sis's MIL offered to take care of Baby Jade for me cos she's not having dinner with us. Thus, Ken & I left Jade with her and off to have dinner. Managed to go back in time to feed Jade despite the long wait at the coffee shop. Haaha!
CNY Gathering with frens
Our usual gathering during CNY, for consecutively 2 years, it was held at my place. Obviously, their no.1 motive was to gamble lah...hahah!!! Not forgetting our annual "Lo-Hei" affair too.
We bought a small bday cake for Coreen and celebrated her belated bday at my place.
Those who didn't make it in the end was Imelda and Adeline.
Kenny was on block leave and he was of great help @ home taking care of Baby Jade with me.
Now, if u see me on the road or at a shopping mall, do say hi to our family of three. ;)
Lastly, Gong Xi Gong Xi & Huat ahhh!!!
