**25 May'2007 - Hong Kong (Day 1)**

Finally, the long waited holiday arrived.

Both Ken & I decided to go for a short trip before we embark on our new career.

Thus, the most economical place & way to travel - Hong Kong & Macau (thks to Budget Airlines).

Due to beginning of school holidays, all morning flights were fully booked. Fortunately, we managed to book the afternoon flight on Friday as all weekend flights were full. *Duh*

Travelling to Hong Kong by Jetstar.

Upon touching down HK after about 3++hrs later, we hurried took the train to City. Alighted @ Kowloon and took a shuttle bus to our hotel. Finally, finally, reached our hotel 5 mins after 9pm.

Tired??? Nah...!!!

Basically my itinery in Hong Kong is rather tight. I have only one full day to 买东西, 吃东西.

So no time to waste...HK, here I come!

Can't wait to have our 1st bite on our favourite "鱼蛋". Mama mia!!!

Took their MTR to the famous "女人街"! Their desserts never failed to excite me!

I had a serving of extra mango topping sago while Ken-san had his nourishing tonic.

Verdict: Simple fantastic! I wish I can gobbled down other fabulicious desserts and more curry "鱼蛋".

Too bad, I do not want to suffer frm indigestion on the 1st day!

We continued to jalan jalan around the premises. After midnite, the hawkers @ "女人街" started to pack up for the nite. We then reluctantly took a cab back to our hotel.

That's the end of Day 1.

Only a couple of hours after reaching HK, I've only managed to get myself a cap at "女人街".

Poor results! Will do better the next day or else how to be "血摒达人" aka shopping queen!!! Keke!!!

**LasT DaY - GfK Asia (5 YeaRs, 5 MoNthS)**

画上人生美丽的据点:

My last day with GfK, mixed feelings.

When I 1st joined 5 years back, I was only 21 (1 month to my 22nd bday).

Location of the office then was @ International Plaza - Tg Pagar.

Few months later, we moved to SGX Centre @ Shenton Way.

Few years later, we shifted again to current location - 1 George Street, near Raffles Place!

兜兜转转, seems that I've never leave this area after half a decade.

Anyway, I lurve this area, always bustling with crowd. Kinda sad cos I won't be near this area anymore. Haizzzz....away from the familiar crowd, away from ex-colleagues n frens, away from moi sister, away from the shopping centres, away from the makan places...arrrgggghhh!!

About my last day, the whole local team went for a farewell lunch. Tierra is gg over to Regional & I'm leaving the company. Carol from Finance - her last day is on 25 May'07, one day after moi. Suppose to be on the same day as her, but I took off earlier as I'm gg for a short trip on Fri.

We had lunch @ Riverside Indonesian Restaurant.

Think there are about 14 of us. Absentees: Brandon, Keegan & Jackie

After lunch, went back to the office.

There was another small farewell gathering in the office around 4plus.

We all gathered in the pantry. Our dear colleagues presented us with farewell gifts.

Carol's gift was a Creative MP3 while mine was a Precious Moment figurine "Tuning In To Happy Times" frm Finance & Field. Another gift frm CS was a sweet pink pendent. Not forgetting farewell cards. Very, very kind of them!

As I mentioned, a tinge of sadness dwell within.

We will definitely meet again.

Oki oki, Day 2 @ Cameron Highland.

Visited a couple of places.

1) 三寶萬佛寺

2) BOH Tea Plantation

Before we ascend the plantation, we took some group photos 1st.

Tea Cafe - Overlook the whole plantation, scenic view!

We had tea & scones at the cafe and it was a relaxing experience. Fine weather, fantastic view & great company, what else can we ask for? 知足啦!!!

In the evening, we went back to the local mkt to buy some yummy food back for dinner. We also bought cup a noodles, canned food & fruits. Yo, having a big feast man!!!

Happy time passed quickly. We left Cameron Highland on Sunday morning and drove to KL for a few hours shopping spree.

By the time we reached Singapore, it was about 8pm liao! Poor Dennis gonna catch a late flight to Germany. So we chop chop had our dinner @ Bt Merah View hawker & then went on our separate ways! Bidding farewell to all!

感想:

Overall, an enjoyable trip! Will be 100% perfect if Ken went.

Nevertheless, thank you Jo, Eddie, Nic, Dennis & Felin for organising this trip. Hope I din bring any inconvenient to you guys & gals.

Looking forward to another trip in future, hee!!!

4May'07, Friday - Rain

Woke up vely early this morning, yup, gg on a road trip with my hubby's frens to Cameron Highland. Ken was unable to go. I vain vain ask them whether I can tag along, thk goodness, they dun mind (hmmm...they realli dun mind? I promised to be a gd gal, hee!!!)

They rented a 7-seater MPV for the almost 8 hrs road trip. I stayed awake throughout the whole journey. Why lei? Hahah....scared the driver fall aslp lah....!!!

No lah, no lah, just feeling excited & not tired lor!

Upon reaching there, we had our lunch & then off we went to Strawberry Park. My camela was inside my backpack n thus, used my Nokia N73 to capture the moments. 1st time plucking (cutting) strawberries whoa...those tiny, greenish & unripe strawberries were soooo adorable! Those ripe ones looked deliciousssss, sweeet & red!

After plucking strawberries, we made our way to the resort & check-in.

After taking a short break, we went out of the resort to jalan jalan at their local mkt. The weather was not realli cold, just cooling! So I dumped my sweater aside! Hardly able to enjoy such nice weather back in Singapore.

Basically, we 边走边吃...!!! See, the 馋嘴猫s (frm left: Eddie aka Ah Dee, Nicholas aka guy always wif a cap, Jojo aka Shopping Queen, Dennis aka 老大 and Felin aka Fefe ) Haha!!! :)

Not enuff? We have steamboat for dinner...鸳鸯火锅! Looks good, taste so so...!!!

Nite came, what's our past-time? U can't guess.
